Irrigation Installation in Georgetown

Water the right places. Use less of it. Serving Georgetown since 2018 — built for Central Texas heat and water restrictions. Call 512.316.4107.

· Service Overview

Designed for Georgetown. Built to Water Efficiently.

An irrigation system that isn't designed well wastes water, overwatering some areas and missing others — a problem that gets expensive fast during Georgetown's summer peak. CTX designs every system from scratch — zone by zone, head by head — based on your yard's actual layout, plant types, sun exposure, and Georgetown's clay soil conditions.

We install new systems for new construction and existing Georgetown properties, add zones to existing systems for new plantings, and set up smart controllers that adjust watering schedules automatically based on local weather. During Georgetown's summer water restrictions, a smart controller ensures your system runs only when and how much it's allowed. Drip irrigation zones serve Hill Country plantings and bed areas efficiently without wetting hardscape or structures.

Every system we install includes a backflow preventer and is built to Georgetown Utility Systems' code requirements. We pull the required permits and coordinate inspections.

· What's Included

Full-System Irrigation, Start to Finish.

Full System Design

A complete zone-by-zone plan drawn for your property, specifying head types, spacing, flow rates, and controller location before any digging begins.

Zone Layout

Zones separated by plant type, sun exposure, and water need — turf zones, bed zones, and drip zones each running on the right schedule.

Smart Controllers

Wi-Fi connected controllers that adjust watering schedules automatically based on local weather data. Skip days when it rains. Water more during heat waves.

Drip Irrigation

Low-flow drip emitters and micro-spray heads for planting beds, trees, and shrubs that deliver water directly to the root zone without waste.

Seasonal Adjustments

We program seasonal watering schedules at installation and can return to adjust as your landscape matures or seasons change.

Backflow Preventer

Every system includes a certified backflow prevention device, installed and tested to Georgetown Water code requirements.

· How It Works

Designed, Installed, and Handed Off Right.

Site Assessment

We measure the property, identify water pressure and flow at the meter, map existing plantings and turf areas, and note any slopes or drainage considerations.

Design

A full system layout is drawn specifying zone count, head placement, pipe routing, controller location, and equipment specifications. You review and approve.

Trenching & Installation

Pipe is trenched at the correct depth, heads are installed at grade, valves and manifolds are assembled, and all connections are pressure-tested before backfill.

Controller Setup

The controller is mounted, wired, and programmed with zone-specific watering schedules. Smart controllers are connected to Wi-Fi and the app is configured.

Test & Walkthrough

Every zone is run and inspected for head-to-head coverage, correct arc, and no dry spots. We walk you through the controller and answer every question before we leave.

Zone count depends on your yard's size, layout, and plant variety. A typical residential property in Georgetown runs 4–8 zones — separating front and back, turf from beds, sunny from shaded areas. Georgetown Utility Systems sets specific requirements for backflow prevention and connection that affect the design. We calculate zone count precisely during the design phase based on your actual water pressure and flow rate at the meter.
Yes. We add zones to existing systems and install new systems in established landscapes regularly. We route pipe carefully around existing plantings and root zones to minimize disturbance. Any disturbed turf or beds are restored after installation.
A smart controller connects to Wi-Fi and uses local weather data — rainfall, temperature, evapotranspiration — to automatically adjust your watering schedule. It skips run cycles when it rains, waters more during heat stress, and tracks water use. In Georgetown, where summer watering restrictions limit run days and times and water bills climb during June through August, a smart controller typically pays for itself in one season. It also keeps you in compliance with Georgetown Utility Systems restrictions automatically.
Yes. We repair broken heads, leaking valves, and damaged pipe on existing systems. We also perform spring start-up inspections and fall winterization. If your existing system needs a full redesign or upgrade, we can assess it and provide options.
